Stages of the project
General plan of work for the entire duration of the project
2015
1) Development of the Internet resource’s design technology for providing access to information about the objects of cultural and historical heritage, based on methods of spatial modeling of geographically distributed objects;
2) Formation of a source base of the project, summarizing information from various sources;
3) Creation of a set of three-dimensional models of individual historic objects using Sketch Up graphical editor for the following time periods of history:
- modern period;
- beginning of the 80’s of the 20th century;
- mid-20th century;
4) Development of individual elements of a three-dimensional virtual museum of urban development history of the central part of Tambov at various stages of its history, displaying the main historical stages of urban development, implemented with the help of the OpenSimulator 0.7.1 open source software platform.
5) Working on publications with the research results for the project: in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission for protection of the candidate's and doctoral theses – 2 articles; in the proceedings of International Conferences – 2 articles;
6) Working on publications in the media, namely in the Newspaper of Tambov State Technical University and the University website in the news section on the page "Our achievements".
2016
1) Analysis of historical processes, including urban development of the central part of Tambov (architectural ensemble of the "Lenin Square") at various stages of its history;
2) Creation of a set of three-dimensional models of individual historic objects using the Sketch Up graphical editor for the following time periods of history:
- late 19th - early 20th centuries;
- mid-18th century;
- mid-17th century.
3) Creating of a three-dimensional virtual museum of urban development history of the central part of Tambov at various stages of its history, showing the main historical stages of urban development, implemented with the help of the OpenSimulator 0.7.1 open source software platform for the following time periods:
- modern period;
- beginning of the 80’s of the 20th century;
- mid-20th century;
- late 19th - early 20th centuries;
- mid-18th century;
- mid-17th century.
4) Working on the text content (it can be implemented in the audio form), presentation of explanatory images.
5) Working on publications with the research results for the project: in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission for protection of the candidate's and doctoral theses – 2 articles, including an article with indexation in the Web of Science; in the proceedings of International Conferences – 2 articles;
6) Working on publications in the media, namely in the Newspaper of Tambov State Technical University and the University website in the news section on the page "Our achievements".

6) Creation of a set of three-dimensional models of individual historic objects using Sketch Up graphical editor for the period of the mid-20th century;
7) Development of individual elements of a three-dimensional virtual museum of urban development history of the central part of Tambov at various stages of its history, displaying the main historical stages of urban development, implemented with the help of the OpenSimulator 0.7.1 open source software platform.
8) Working on scientific and technical reports on the project;
9) Working on publications with the research results for the project: in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission for protection of the candidate's and doctoral theses – 2 articles; in the proceedings of International Conferences – 2 articles;
10) Working on publications in the media, namely in the Newspaper of Tambov State Technical University and the University website in the news section on the page "Our achievements".
In 2015 one trip in the Russian Federation is planned to achieve the stated objectives
The content and scope of work of each researcher (including the project head) in 2015:
Project head, Prof. V.A. Nemtinov - overall project management. Development of the Internet resource’s design technology for providing access to information about the objects of cultural and historical heritage, based on methods of spatial modeling of geographically distributed objects.
Principal researcher of the project, Cand.tech.sci., Associate professor Gorelov A.A.:
a) provision of reasonable options for each historical period (mentioned in items 3 and 6).
b) direct involvement in making drawings for each of the items mentioned above in the work plan of the first year.
c) monitoring and assistance in carrying out supplementary work for the same plan items by other researchers.
Researcher of the project Cand.ped.sci., Associate professor Ostrozhkov P.A.:
a) direct involvement in selection of data and its analysis.
b) modeling of data about historical processes associated with the city of Tambov (mentioned in paragraphs 3 and 6).
